Please allow me to present my version of the most famous female painter in history, Frida Kahlo (and one of my mentors). One of the reasons I absolutely love her and her work is because she deviated from the traditional portrayal of female beauty and art. For those who are not aware, Frida met with a near fatal bus accident when she was 18 that crippled her. However, this did not stop her for most of her brilliant pieces were painted while confined to her bed and lying down! A strong and empowered woman who did not let society phase her, such an inspiration! I hope you like my portrayal of her. 😊
